Published: January 20, 2026

PPS is proud to announce that it has been recognised as a Top Employer in South Africa for 2026 by the Top Employers Institute. This recognition affirms PPS’s commitment to fostering a high-performance culture through people-centred strategies, independent benchmarking and a sustained focus on practices that support both business growth and employee development.

The Top Employers Institute is the global authority in HR certification, benchmarking and advisory. Active in 131 countries and regions, its programme certifies organisations based on the outcomes of its HR Best Practices Survey. The survey evaluates six key domains: people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, diversity, equity and inclusion as well as wellbeing.

Masenyane Molefe, Group Executive: Human Capital at PPS, said, “This recognition reflects our shared commitment to creating a workplace where our people and our business grow together. At PPS, we believe in mutual success – when our employees thrive, so does our organisation. This certification is a testament to the strength of our people strategy and our ongoing pursuit of excellence.”

The Country Certification provides access to globally benchmarked insights, expert validation and proven practices that help shape a resilient and future-fit people strategy. Certified organisations benefit from enhanced employer branding, sharper strategic alignment and a stronger ability to demonstrate impact to stakeholders across the business and talent landscape. It also offers the opportunity to engage with a global network of certified Top Employers.

In 2025, the programme certified and recognised nearly 2500 Top Employers across 131 countries and regions, positively impacting the lives of more than 14 million employees worldwide. In South Africa, 164 organisations were recognised, including nine from the insurance sector – a distinction achieved by only a select few.
